Delicious steak and cheese! All the food was top notch, no complaints. We went back the next day again and couldn't resist more buffalo wings because they broke da mout 10/10 recommend.

Stopped here to grab some late night eats. Roast beef was excellent, huge and cheap. Wings had a good flavor, I prefer wings without coating, but they were still juicy and tender. The wife got a grilled chicken grinder that was some of the best chicken I've had on a sandwich, very flavorful, tender and juicy as well. I'll be back next time we are in town.

I ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger online with the simple request of substituting thin fries with steak fries. Not only did my fries still come thin , I had an extra order of thin fries that I was charged for. My burger was way over cooked and there was absolutely no cheese. After calling and speaking with the very kind woman on the phone who tried to help, I was extremely disappointed when I waited another hour for what I thought was going to be a new burger and all it was , was a piece of cheese. The burger I received an hour before was already cold and inedible. Very disappointed.. I was not offered a refund or explanation.

What an absolute pleasure... Kudos to the man on the line and the supporting staff... We went on college move in day and hands down... The best roast beef sandwich I've ever had... Absolutely a must. We also had BBQ chicken pizza and the onion rings are bomb diggity... Booyahhhh baby! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great food! This place has very little seating (maybe 5 booths). It looks like most of the business is take-out. We walked there from the Hampton so chose to eat there. Like someone else said, look past the outside and you will find amazing food! They had four full menu boards of items to choose from making it hard to decide. We ended up with fish and chips (comes with onion rings and coleslaw as well) and a calzone. I had the David's calzone (grilled chicken, spinach, feta cheese, onion and house dressing). It was huge, cut into four pieces. I could only eat one so took the rest to go. I do recommend this place!

Was visiting from out of town and my sister-in-law took me to Sammie’s. Roast beef sandwich was excellent with plenty of meat and my fries were extra crispy just like we ordered. Highly recommend. Wish we had one.

Ordered Roast Beef Basket, amazing portion size for the beef (they do not skimp you on that) - fries were fresh and made to order. BBQ sauce has amazing tang to it and is alittle thinner that most store bought - be ready to make a mess while you eat but it's well worth it. By far, best roast beef sandwich I've ever had. Located super close to museums and downtown Salem so I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area and wanting some REAL local food.

We were visiting Salem and were hungry and stumbled upon Sammy's and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Greek wrap and spinach roll. It was delicious. We will be going back again when we visit Salem.
